GeoPfad – GeoDorf Gams

The GeoPfad (“path”) is a mostly easy walk which takes you to 15 things to see and learn on 3 kilometres. Starting at the GeoWorkshop, the path follows the Gams stream right to the Noth Gorge. A 700-metre stairway leads you through the gorge dug into the landscape by the rushing stream. Connected by single steps and bridges, the path keeps rising and falling. Eventually, the Noth Gorge takes its visitors up a steep slope and on to the only Grinding Mill in Styria. Turn around here to find your way back along the old Noth way until you reach the starting point, the GeoWorkshop.

When to visit: The path is accessible from May to October, depending on the weather
