Festival St. Gallen
The annual St. Gallen Festival, which takes place in August, came into being almost 30 years ago and is a magnet for artists and music enthusiasts. Combining innovation with tried and tested masterpieces, the festival presents top-class events in a great variety of genres at Gallenstein Castle: open-air world music concerts in the yard of the castle, trend-setting performances of contemporary music, orchestral concerts in the St. Gallen Parish Church, Baroque music and jazz at its best and, last but not least, classical chamber music.
