All of this connects and is offered by the nature park communities, with every community, every place or even every rest area, every forest clearing, every patch of meadow and every mountain peak has its uniqueness and special features.

The Styrian merger of municipalities resulted in 4 municipalities from what used to be 7 nature park municipalities: Altenmarkt near St. Gallen, Landl, St. Gallen and Wildalpen. The Styrian Eisenwurzen Nature Park consists of four communities:
