Palfau Wasserloch Gorge
The Palfau Wasserloch Gorge is one of Austria’s most remarkable natural phenomena. Be it narrow canyons, intoxicating waterfalls, in-depth insights or expansive views: the Wasserloch Gorge has everything you could possibly wish for when going on a hiking adventure. You pass five breath-taking waterfalls and the next thing you know is that a climbing facility adapted to nature takes you through the gorge and on towards one of the most impressive karst springs in Austria. Hiking back up from 325 metres to 900 metres takes 1.5 hours. We recommend wearing sturdy shoes. Take a well-deserved culinary break at the Wasserlochschenke restaurant at the end of your hike.
