Noth Gorge – Pitzengraben – thundering waters and fossils
There are two trails that lead through the 1.5 km Noth Gorge at GeoDorf Gams: a wooden footpath along the stream and a sloping cart path. Both allow you to discover the canyon-like beech forest with its orchids, cyclamens and quaint ferns. Animal lovers can spot snails, white-throated dippers, chaffinches and fire salamanders on the way. In the Pitzengraben, you may stumble upon some fossils.
