In the brand-new Gesäuse Old School Nature Park Resort in Hieflau, of course, nobody has to go to school anymore. In fact, you will never want to leave the former school again, the apartments that have now been newly built are so cosy. Four units are available, for four, six and twice for eight people. Each of them is fully equipped, from the kitchen to a cosy reading corner – or as the Styrian says: “Knotzecke” – and the bathroom. Feel at home, without any obligations. Because the Old School certainly has a good soul, too. Renate Kronsteiner welcomes new arrivals, provides information about excursion destinations, puts the breakfast basket, which she has put together according to her own wishes in advance, in front of her guests’ door – and takes care of the valuables in the in-house communal refrigerator. It is filled with products from the region, provided by selected Gesaeuse partners. Whether breakfast eggs or goat cheese from the Milwisch family – you can be sure that chicken and goat cheese are Styrian originals.

The apartment house offers 4 different class rooms or apartments (Ap. 1: 1-6 persons; Ap. 2; 1-8 persons; Ap. 3 1-4 persons; Ap. 4 1-8 persons). Every apartment has its own bath room, dinning room including fully stuffed kitchen, WIFI and TV. Bedclothes and towels are available. Outdoor space for every apartment accessible in the back of the building. This offers a quite space including garden furniture and barbecue possibilities. In the front you find a main street which offers you short distances for grocery shopping and for exploring the small mountain village.
