Workshop series mobility
What’s planned?
Various mobility concepts on a national level have already been developed and have tried to better open up and improve the extensive region with public transport or sustainable mobility concepts. With external experts and with the help of the existing basics, the focus is once again on mobility solutions for the 4 KLAR! communities. The last mile of train or bus connections is particularly relevant here. Two workshops with regional actors are intended to bundle solution approaches. Adjacent regions and their stakeholders are invited to an external workshop in order to bundle and concentrate supra-regional interests.
What has already happened?
On the initiative of KLAR! In the Styrian Nature and Geopark, the communities are ready to increase public transport, especially in the summer season, which is important for the region. Something is happening in terms of public and climate-friendly transport services. Be curious and take advantage of the new offer. From May 1st it should be ready. The possibilities for more public transport were explored in several working discussions between the specialist departments of the province of Styria, the municipalities, the National Park and the Gesäuse Tourist Association.
